CRAIG Hoy, a Conservative MSP for South Scotland, has recently welcomed pupils from Cockenzie Primary School to the Scottish Parliament.
The pupils visited the Parliament after learning about Scottish politics in school, including the role of MSPs and different political parties. Mr Hoy answered questions from the students and heard their law and policy suggestions.
Following the visit, the South Scotland MSP said: “It was great to speak to pupils from Cockenzie Primary School and welcome them into the Scottish Parliament.
“The school children asked some pertinent questions and shared their insight about the issues affecting their generation.
“It’s always great to welcome pupils from schools across South Scotland to the Scottish Parliament. If any teacher would like to organise a visit, please do contact me.”
