CRAIG Hoy, a Conservative MSP for South Scotland, has recently visited Haddington Day Centre and met with visitors of the centre.
The Haddington Day Centre provides older residents of the town and those with complex needs with a space to meet others and benefit from home-made food on a regular basis in addition to regular activities and events.
The centre recently organised a Christmas Craft Fair where Christmas-themed arts and crafts products were sold from users of the centre.
As well as providing a bus service for people with mobility issues to attend the centre, Haddington Day Centre also operates an outreach strategy to provide carers with the chance to have a break.
Craig Hoy MSP said: “I was delighted to meet with staff and users of Haddington Day Centre. The centre has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and it is a great credit to the staff.”
